New client colour booking policy

At avenue Boutique we strive to offer our clients the very best service possible, and we simply cannot wait to meet you and help you achieve your absolute dream hair!

If you have never been to see us for a colour before we will require you to book in for a new client colour consultation. This is a 15 minute complimentary appointment where you can meet your stylist and get her expert advice on your hair and how to achieve the perfect colour and style for you.

An allergy alert test (skin test) will also be carried out at this appointment once we have determined the   colour we will be using on your hair. This is a legal requirement and must be done a minimum of 48 hours prior to any new colour appointment.

If you are not sure what you might want or which stylist to book in with simply fill in our easy online consultation form and one of our team will get back to you.

Once you have had your consultation and are happy to proceed with an appointment there will be deposit to pay for colour appointments.

For all new colour appointments we require a £30 deposit to secure the appointment. This will then be redeemed against your service on the day.

If you cancel or change your appointment within the required time frame (see below) your deposit will carry forward onto your next appointment or be fully refunded.

If you cancel change or miss your appointment with short notice (less than 48 hours) you will unfortunately lose your deposit.

For longer appointments (4 hours or more) such as colour correction or a balayage a larger deposit of 50% is required.

With our longer appointments we also require a longer notice period of 1 week to cancel or amend your appointments.

We try to operate a fair policy that both protects our small business and is fair to our customers. Therefore In the event that we can re-sell the appointment we will waive any late cancellation fees and refund your deposit.

Late cancellations and missed appointments policy

We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice when cancelling or changing any appointment.

If less than 48 hours’ notice is given there will be a charge of 50% of the service booked.

If an appointment is completely missed there will be 100% charge of the service booked.

These charges would need to be paid before any other appointments can be booked going forward. If you have already paid a deposit the deposit will be lost and any difference owed will need to be paid.

Please note For larger colour appointments (over 4 hours) we require a minimum of 1 weeks notice for cancellations or amends.

We understand there are emergencies which cannot be avoided, and these will of course not be charged for.

We will also endeavour to resell the appointment and if we can we will waive the cancellation fee and return any deposits.

We ask for as much notice as possible when changing or rearranging appointments to allow us time to re-sell the appointment.

We are extremely thankful  for your co-operation and understanding in helping us protect our small business.

Late arrivals

If you know you are going to be late for an appointment, please contact us as soon as possible to let us know, this gives us the opportunity to see if we can still offer you the full service you were booked in for or move things around if we can.

If you are 15 minutes late or more, it is likely we will have to rearrange the appointment in order to avoid causing problems for other customers who have appointments booked that day.

This will then be classed as a missed appointment and charged at 100% of the booked service.

Where possible we will absolutely try to accommodate you, and possibly offer part of the original service booked. But please appreciate We can only do this is it doesn’t affect other customer appointments or stylist finishing times.

To avoid any charges or disappointment please give yourself plenty of time to get to your appointment.
